Round 2 of the National
Handcycling Series held in Melbourne on 27-28
February was a very eventful trip for the 4
Wheelchair Sports WA boys
in attendance. Nigel Barley, Peter Allen, Craig
Parsons and James Ormerod made the trip
across and all put in very
strong performances.
Nigel took up where he left
off last year, dominating the field to run away
with a win in the Time Trial and Road Race,
while
Peter Allen still has some
work to do before April if he is to retain his
National Title. Craig Parsons rode in one class
up and
finished an amazing 4th
while James Ormerod was very impressive in his
time trial before an accident ruled him out of
the
road race.

The boys have the Freeway
Bike Hike and Wheelchair Sports time trial still
to come before they jet off to the Sunshine
Coast for National
Championships.
