Wheelchair Sports WA, Charity of the Year

Since 1999 the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) have run a Charity of the Year Program. In 2010 Wheelchair

Sports WA has been fortunate enough to be selected as the CCI Charity of the Year. The honour means that CCI will

focus is fundraising efforts on Wheelchair Sports WA for the next 12 month period through a number of events and

 fundraising activities.

The major event for the year that CCI will run on behalf of Wheelchair Sports WA is The CCI Charity

Golf Day which has run successfully for more than 16 years. It provides the perfect opportunity for

 participants to network with new or potential clients and strengthen relationships with existing

business contacts in a relaxed and informal environment.

Teams of four take part in an 18 hole, four-ball Ambrose competition with a shotgun start. Participants

are provided with breakfast on arrival, on course food and beverages throughout the day and a

presentation luncheon, increasing the networking opportunities available to sponsors. The event will

act as a charity fundraiser, with profits donated to CCI's chosen Charity of the Year for 2010, Wheelchair

Sports WA.
