Interesting Facts:
Grant had a surfing accident in February 2000 at Yallingup that left him an incomplete quadriplegic at level C6/7. He was then flown to Perth where he spent 4 months in hospital. 2 months later, Grant started playing local competition Rugby. He made his state debut at the 2001 National Championships. Shortly after Grant made his debut in the Australian side. He is the current captain of the WA Black Ducks. Grant will travel to Athens in 2004 for his first Paralympics.
Grant's goals are to help Australia win Gold at the 2004 Paralympics and 2006 World Championships whilst improving his position in the Australian team. He also would like to guide the WA team to a top-two finish in the NWRL in the near future.
